Here, I am about to construct a BioHaven mini-floating treatment wetland for a back yard waterscape. The purpose for this application is to enhance aesthetics, reduce algae, and eliminate mosquitoes.

I've planted this island with locally harvested, native rush and sedge species. The open space between plants is seeded with a native wetland seed mix harvested near the Boise River.
 

Our client was generous enough to let us put additional islands in his waterscape to establish this fall. We'll move the islands to the Idaho Botanical Gardens next spring.
